I am so grateful to work with individuals who inspire me and push me to be the best employer that I can be. I challenge each and every Farm Team member to learn and grow from their summer experience working at the farm.

The Farm Team, a group of people that work for the benefit of all. Working at The Sunflower Farm is a great experience full of fun memories and a lifetime of knowledge. Working with great people was just one part of a great summer, being able to see beautiful fields of sunflowers was the best part. Team work is crucial for the team as we work in groups and independently. Being able to rely on your co-worker to help you in any situation is an integral part of being part of the farm team. Can’t wait for next summer!
As someone who has worked in various fields I can honestly say The Sunflower Farm left a lasting impact on who I am today. It is very rare to find a work environment that makes you want to give it your all every single day, but this place is something special. The can be challenging no doubt, but it’s getting to see the faces of the visitors, their first gaze of the fields that really does make it worthwhile. If you’re someone who doesn’t mind being in the sun all day, can keep a positive attitude, and is willing to learn, this is the job for you.
The opportunity to be part of The Farm Team is a once in a lifetime experience. I can honestly say the people you work with are pretty great, and the environment is the best I’ve ever worked in. That also speaks to the leadership ability of Ursula who is the best boss I have ever had (I swear I’m not getting paid for this!) So if you want a cool farmers tan and the chance to meet some great people, you should join The Farm Team.
Imagine waking up, seeing the sunrise as you drive to work and then arriving at this beautiful yellow field. Yes, this is real!!! It’s THE JOB of the summer. Working at The Sunflower Farm is a wonderful experience! It means learning about farming, sharing this new knowledge with others and embracing the beautiful surroundings - the sunflowers and the farm. It is incredibly peaceful and empowering. Between the bright yellow flowers, the fresh air, and the outgoing Farm Team, the days are happy and filled with exciting moments. Ursula and Natasha really take care of the farm, the visitors and The Farm Team.
Hard to condense my experience at The Sunflower Farm into only a few short words! It’s one thing to get to work at such a beautiful place; fresh air, open spaces and flowers as far as you can see! But what truly makes the job special is the unique team building, creative projects, laughter and the awesome staff who quickly feel like family!
