SUNFLOWER PHOTOSHOOTS

The Sunflower Farm is offering after hours access to our sunflower field for PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS ONLY (+ their clients). These time slots are not available for general access.

SUNFLOWER PHOTOSHOOTS:

• Booked by the hour, photographers will have full access to the field after public hours and are welcome to bring in multiple clients during their allotted time.

• There will be a limited number of photographers (3 photographers) and their clients per hourly session with access to the fields - you will not have exclusive access, but there’s lots of room for everyone!

• There will be 10 acres of blooming sunflowers and multiple trails to explore to ensure space and consideration to everyone.

• Photography sessions are held in the evening at golden hour, when the farm has closed to the public.

• For morning sunrise sessions before the farm opens, please reach out to info@thesunflowerfarm.ca

NEW: Photography liability insurance is not required. Pricing varies. Photographers must provide The Sunflower Farm with a copy of their valid liability insurance and a signed photographer waiver upon booking. If you do not have liability insurance, you or your clients must pay entrance fees.

1 hour = $100+HST* | 2 hours = $150+HST* | 3 hours = $200+HST*

*If you have your own business liability insurance

Other charges: If you do not have existing liability insurance, an entry fee must be paid for every client attending your sessions, including children, in addition to the hourly fees above. See here for entrance fees.

NOTE: Photographers are not permitted to conduct any sort of photoshoot during regular opening hours as posted. The Sunflower Farm and its Staff reserve the right to determine if your shoot is commercial in nature during regular business hours and you may be asked to leave the farm without refunds. No images taken at The Sunflower Farm may be used for commercial purposes without prior written permission. This includes our evening concert events.

I would like for you all to meet Kailey from Kailey Jane Photography! For those of you who may not know, Kailey is our photographer and creative strategist on The Sunflower Farm Team. She is a master at photography and we are all very excited to have her on our team. One thing you should also know about Kailey is that she has the absolute sweetest family (which she captures honestly through her photos!) and how lucky are we that she’s just a hop, skip and jump away from The Sunflower Farm?! Here at the farm, we are all about supporting local so I was thrilled that Kailey was on board to join the team. A bit of a wanderer herself, Kailey has now landed in the sweet smalltown of Sunderland and is calling it home for her family. I am incredibly lucky to have Kailey behind the camera to capture the authentic and honest moments at The Sunflower Farm.

Most (not all but most!) of the photos you will see on our Instagram and website have been captured by Kailey and we would like to give credit where credit is due! Photography is a tricky one to navigate in this online world so please respect our copyright protection for photography and reach out to us if you would like to use any of our photography. 

Photos seen on our website and social media may NOT be used for print, social media (*without credit) or commercial purposes without a written contract from The Sunflower Farm and Kailey Jane Photography.
